Our Vision
We envision a well-connected network of non-motorized trails that links the diverse landscapes and communities of San Juan Island. These trails support recreation, transportation, health, and a deeper connection to the island’s natural and cultural heritage — now and for generations to come.
Our Mission
The San Juan Island Trails Committee works to facilitate, promote, and participate in the creation, use, and stewardship of a trail system for walking, biking, and horseback riding. We are dedicated to making trails more accessible to all, while preserving the beauty and ecology of the island we love.
