KNOW YOUR ISLAND WALK

Saturday, April 19th, 10am - 1pm
Three Meadows

Join us for a 2.5-mile walk through Three Meadows, a subdivision of 28 families who share pastures, a 120-year-old working barn, forests, and a 30-acre marsh—home to a resident beaver and the family lodge. The route follows single-lane dirt roads around part of the marsh, with a possible climb to a wildflower-covered rocky bald, weather permitting.

The trail is steep and rocky in places, so bring hiking poles and sturdy footwear. Dogs are not encouraged due to the single-file trail. If you bring a dog, it must be leashed and friendly with others.

Parking is limited at the small lot at the start of Three Meadows Lane, just off Roche Harbor Road (3 miles north of Friday Harbor). Please carpool if possible. A local resident will greet walkers at the parking area starting at 9:45.

How to Get There: Parking is on Three Meadows Lane off Roche Harbor Road.
